Resource-efficient food processing
This project will enable the development of a sensor based TRL6 prototype in 4 months for an innovative data management system to support tomato paste processing. The process of processing tomatoes requires measurements before, during and after processing. With this project, we are able to hire an external expert to carry out research on how to be completely resource efficient with tomato waste being used as a compost for fertilization on one hand, while on the other drain energy from it that can be used for the drying process.
